Band Bio

Indigo Riff is a melting pot of musical expressions.

In 2007, four musicians with a combined five decades of experience stirred up their eclectic musical tastes into one saucy and compelling mix. The result is an entertaining musical act with a Jazzy, Bluesy and Latin flavour, liberally spiced with sass and sophistication.

Since its inception, Indigo Riff has performed on a regular basis in the Guelph, Elora and London areas. It has been a monthly mainstay at the Elora Mill live-music nights along with being the Mill's preferred band for New Year's Eve parties. It has also been the in-demand entertainment for the two day Elora Art in the Yard art and craft exhibition for the past four years.

In 2008, the organizers of the Sensational Elora arts festival chose Indigo Riff to lead things off for their inaugural black-tie gala. In August 2011, Indigo Riff was featured at Sensational Elora's Jazz in the Yard.

The band regularly performs at private functions from art shows to weddings, university receptions to national association conventions. These events have carried the band to exciting and diverse venues such as the shores of Lake Huron and the Boiler Room in Toronto's Distillery District.

After only two years of creating original music together the band was invited to perform at the Wortley Village Jazz and Blues Festival (London, Ontario) sharing the stage with the likes of: Natalie Howard Grant, Chris Robinson, Floating Point, Larry Smith and The Jitterbugs and the Oliver Whitehead Band.

In Love With Love, the band's debut CD, was released in November 2011 at two SOLD OUT Release Parties in Guelph and London, Ontario.
